UPCOMING EVENTS June 12, 2013 MINISESSION -COMPLEX CLAIMS & NAVIGATING SANDY IRU's perennial claims seminar moves to June and, as usual, will offer timely sessions on the hot topics in the claims world of interest to underwriters and brokers as well as claims technicians. Sessions will include complex claims, commutations: ECO/XPL; contract interpretation issues, as well as a special session on the claims and claims issues arising from Super Storm Sandy, in particular coverage issues arising from deductibles; BI/CBI claims; subrogation; class action issues and the variances between the NY, NJ & CT regulatory mediation procedures. July 11, 2013 NEW!!!! IRU's 4th ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT, Norwalk, CT Just booked is our regular bowling home, the AMF Rip Van Winkle lanes in Norwalk, CT. Work off those July 1st renewal rate frustrations with the Bowling Tournament which runs from 3 pm through 5pm and then unwind with the customary networking reception. Company teams of 4 people will compete for the IRU Trophy currently residing at Arch Re's Morristown, NJ office. Invitations will be sent out shortly to traditional attendees but this event is open to all so if you wish to enter a team, contact the office early in June for more information.
