To seek and employ means of publicizing the existence, objectives and benefits of IRU.
To re-attract current members to IRU Conventions.
To expand and improve awareness of programs to current members and key constituencies.
To facilitate as needed the provision of publicity for conventions, for special seminars and forums and other events which may be sponsored or cosponsored by IRU.
To seek and employ ways to promote IRU and its programs in any manner which does not fall under the auspices of any other standing or ad-hoc committee within the organization.
To carry out the wishes of the Board of Directors of IRU with regard to matters pertaining to publicity and promotion of the organization, its objectives and programs.
To maintain a close liaison with industry-trade associations; to cultivate awareness of their problems, concerns and attitudes; to communicate such concerns to the membership; to report on committee activities at regular business meetings; to, annually, present program ideas for IRU meetings.
